So, I'm sitting there grossed out and in pain, and I start to notice that the low lights aren't just for ambiance. They are actually hiding the filth of the carpet. I didn't notice it at first (who examines the floor, as they are walking?), but once I was high up in the pedi chair, I saw all of the toenail clippings stuck in the carpet - so gross!

I get there only to see that the two women there have started working on customers. No one is at the front desk, and neither of the women even turns to look at me. One of the customers actually ended up telling them I was there, and the lady says it'll be 20 minutes. Was I not just told to hurry down there ASAP?!

Then, the woman next to her, who I later found out was the owner, grabbed the same file and buffer and started working on her customer! OMG, I should have bolted, right then and there, with warning flags 1 and 2, but like an idiot, I just kept my mouth shut and told myself it couldn't get worse.

I was beyond LIVID! After all of this, you can't even put forth the effort to extend your hand to TAKE MY MONEY?! To top it off, 3 DAYS LATER, I had an infected toe, and the polish on both of my big toes was already chipped off!

I go in, and the light switch doesn't work. It's dark as a frickin' cave, and I ask her if the light is broken - to which she replies that's all the light there is. The light, in question, is one bulb on the floor of the bathroom, in the corner. Um.. :/

Plus, that gross navy carpet is all over the salon, even in the bathroom! OMG, don't get me started on the bathroom. Okay, fast-forward, the pedicure is finished, I ask where the bathroom is, and she says it's at the end, to the right.

So, at that point, I was fuming, but given that I had already made the trek out there, I decided to stay. I went to Tony's, grabbed a slice, and came back. To make a long story short, the girl that did my pedi (Sanya?) went to town on my cuticles that I barely have and ended up cutting my big toe.

I definitely WOULD NOT recommend this place at all. I had the worst nail experience I have ever had at Happy Nails, and to add insult to injury, I'm still nursing my toe back to health. :I

I had a really BAD experience here, and when I say bad, I don't mean I was just annoyed. I left there bleeding and COMPLETELY unhappy. I called there on my day off, a Wednesday, last month, and since it is the only free day I have in the week, I like to schedule my day, in order to maximize my time. When I initially called to setup an appointment, I was basically barked at and told to come in at any time and an appointment wasn't necessary.

Yeah, so, I finally exit the bathroom (if you can call it that with no working lights or toilet), and I go to dry my toes. I am sitting there for a solid 20 minutes, and no one checks on me - not even the girl that did my toes. Finally, I decide to oil my own toes, pull the paper out, and head to the register, but the owner, who is now sitting at the first table, doesn't even turn her head to acknowledge me!

Mind you, I asked to make an appointment REPEATEDLY and was shot down. I make appointments almost everywhere I go, if it's available, in order to avoid having to wait, which brings me to the next awful link in the bad experience chain.

I have never experienced such bad customer service! Do not go to this place! They are rude and disrespectful! The owner woman herself is the worst of all!!!

After she stopped the bleeding, my toe was throbbing the rest of the pedicure, but the WORST part of the whole thing is how disgusting the place is. When she started sawing at my toes, she pulled these deteriorating, ancient files and buffers out and threw them back in her rolling caddy, after she used them on me.

Okay, whatever, I needed to pee. I do what I went there to do. Then, I go to flush, and there's no water pressure - no hint of water movement. Embarrassing, much? Can you imagine if it was anything else? I would be beet red asking someone to help me flush the toilet, knowing we would both be standing around it, working feverishly to get it to flush.
